Daegan Sheehan, 22
Daegan Sheehan was a Co-Founder of the Democreation Project. He is a UC Santa Cruz student, a talented public speaker and spoken word artist. Daegan developed the curriculum for the OMNI Center, (an alternative school for spiritual development, environmental and political activism training) and is currently working on the curriculum for the New Paradigm Academy in Crestone, Colorado. He works to involve young artists in the arena of political activism, personal development, empowerment and spiritual practice. daegan@newparadigminstitute.org ![]() Henze Marvin, 22
Henze Marvin is a Dominican University Student, a creative activist, and a performing artist (specializing in North Indian Dance). Her passion is to convey the importance of global cooperation, sustainable community building, and sacred art. Henze holds the primary inspirational and spiritual energy of the Youth Leadership Council. She is a magnetic and successful recruiter, coordinator, fundraiser, and outreach leader, and has been given paid internships with Democracy Matters and the New Paradigm Institute. henze@newparadigminstitute.org ![]() Annie Schlesinger, 24
Annie Schlesinger graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in Public Relations and Communications. Annie has lived and worked in Sydney, Australia and Barcelona, Spain. She was a Co-Founder of the Democreation Project and was the central focus of an episode of the Discovery Times T.V. show, "Staffers". Annie has extensive event planning and production experience. Annie currently serves as the Office Manager and Event Coordinator for the New Paradigm Institute. annie@newparadigminstitute.org ![]() Danny Paul Nelson, 25
Danny Paul Nelson is a Harvard student and was a Co-Founder of the Democreation Project, as well as the leading spokesperson, visionary, and political strategist. He has unwavering discipline and dedication to his work. He is passionate about the importance of youth exercising their power in the political arena. He continues to develop the vision for the Youth Leadership Council and has written on the subjects of youth organizing and grassroots community development. dannypaul@newparadigminstitute.org ![]() Jennifer Wilkie, 23
Jennifer Wilkie graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies. She brings extensive organizing, media, and youth activism experience. She led the youth component of the State of the World Forum in 1999. In 2000, Jennifer worked to organize weeklong, non-partisan youth conventions of 500 people concurrent with the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. She now serves as the Media Coordinator for the New Paradigm Institute. jenny@newparadigminstitute.org ![]() Benjamin Eichart, 27
Benjamin Eichart attended the Arm and Hammer International School in New Mexico with young people from around the world. He produced successful documentary films on the Zapatista Movement in Mexico and the WTO Protests in Seattle.
